Steam Had Its Best September Ever and Is on Pace for $20 Billion in 2026

Alinea Analytics estimates Steam made $1.6 billion in September, its best September on record and up 13% on 2025, with $5.5 billion for the quarter and $16.5 billion so far this year. Analyst Rhys Elliott expects Steam to pass $20 billion for the first time in 2026, helped by The Witcher 3 Remastered, WARDOGS, and a crowded October slate. GamesRadar reported the numbers on October 2. These are analyst estimates; Valve does not publish revenue.
