Report: Nvidia's Next GPUs and Most AMD RDNA 5 Cards May Slip to 2028

Multiple hardware outlets reported on September 16, 2026 that Nvidia's Rubin-based RTX 60 series and most of AMD's RDNA 5 lineup could skip 2027 and arrive in 2028. The claim comes from leaker Kepler_L2 and board-partner sources, not from Nvidia or AMD, so treat it as unconfirmed. The reason given is a memory shortage: both companies are steering graphics memory toward AI accelerators. Only AMD's RDNA 5 AT2 chip is still expected in 2027.
