WARDOGS Patch 0.11 Finally Makes Community Servers Findable and Pays a 5 Percent Bonus

BULKHEAD pushed WARDOGS patch 0.11 on September 14, five days after the large-scale shooter's Early Access launch peaked at 400,000 concurrent players. The patch is almost entirely about the server browser: it splits into Community and Official tabs, adds text search and reliable filters, and community servers keep one ID through map changes so friends can join by number. Community servers also pay a 5 percent end-of-match cash bonus as an apology. The notes add timed bans for economy exploits and permanent bans for XP farming, and fix a GPU crash.

Discussion Topics

  1. A 5 percent cash bonus on community servers: fair apology, or a bribe to leave official queues?
  2. Permanent bans for XP farming five days after launch: too harsh, or exactly what a new shooter needs?
  3. Does WARDOGS hold its 400,000-player peak once the launch buzz fades?
  4. Community servers or official matchmaking: which one is your home in WARDOGS?
