Free to try Nintendo

Madden NFL 27 Is Free to Play in Full on Switch 2 Until September 15

Nintendo Switch Online members can play the full version of EA Sports Madden NFL 27 free on Switch 2 through September 15 as a Game Trial, Nintendo's promotion that unlocks an entire game rather than a demo slice. Any progress and unlocks carry over if you buy the game afterward. Switch Online is Nintendo's paid online subscription, so an active membership is the only thing required to jump in.

Discussion Topics

  1. Madden on the Switch 2 handheld: a real way to play, or stick to console?
  2. Full game free for a few days: enough to sell you, or just a demo with extra steps?
  3. Does the progress carryover make you more likely to actually buy in?
