World of Warcraft: Forever Reimagines the Vanilla Game, Beta Opens September 17

Blizzard announced World of Warcraft: Forever at BlizzCon, an expanded reimagining of the original 2004 WoW that launches November 4, with beta access starting September 17. It adds new zones like Mount Hyjal and the Riverglades plus a new playable race, the Skyborne. It sits apart from the live game's Midnight expansion, whose next patch, Eclipse, addresses the villain Xal'atath.
