Onimusha: Way of the Sword Launches September 4 With Reviews Near 9 out of 10

Capcom's samurai action revival Onimusha: Way of the Sword arrives September 4 on Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. The review embargo lifted this week with mostly strong scores, including 9 out of 10 from Nintendo Life and a Metacritic average around 83. Critics praised the reaction-based katana combat and the boss fights, while a few flagged repetitive mid-game stretches. It is the first mainline Onimusha in roughly two decades.
