Valorant's 13.05 Patch Starts Banning Stream Snipers and Instalock Tools

Riot rolled out Valorant patch 13.05 on September 1. Players caught using stream-sniping software or auto-instalock tools (programs that grab an agent the instant selection opens) now get temporary bans that escalate to permanent for repeat use. The patch also makes ability sound sprays audible only to nearby players so they stop drowning out team comms. Riot flagged a bigger change for patch 13.06 on September 22: the Agent Gear reward track will tie each cosmetic to how much you play that specific agent.
