STALKER 2 Drops Its Cost of Hope Story DLC and a Free Unreal Engine 5.5 Patch Today

GSC Game World releases Cost of Hope, the first major story expansion for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, today, August 20, on PC, Xbox Series X and S, and PS5. It opens two areas sealed off in the base game, the Chornobyl plant admin buildings and the Iron Forest, with dozens of hours of new quests tied to the Duty versus Freedom faction conflict. A free Update 2.0 ships the same day, moving the game from Unreal Engine 5.1 to 5.5.4 for better performance and stability.
