Marvel Tokon Sheds Nearly Half Its PC Players in Week One as Steam Reviews Sit at 43%

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls has lost close to half its Steam players within a week of launch, and the Arc System Works fighter now sits at a Mixed 43% positive rating. PC players report persistent stutters, failed launches, and a Steam Deck and Linux lockout tied to the game's anti-cheat and PlayStation overlay requirements. A day-one patch aimed at shader compilation and overlay conflicts has not stopped the complaints, and the roughly 24,000-player Steam peak is sliding.

  2. Should PlayStation hold PC ports until they actually run, or is day-one parity worth the mess?
  3. Anti-cheat that locks out Steam Deck: acceptable cost or a lost-sale machine?
  4. Can a fighting game rebuild its PC scene once the ranked ladder empties?
