Ghost Recon Wildlands Gets a Free Native PS5 Upgrade Nine Years Later

Ubisoft shipped a free PS5 upgrade for Ghost Recon Wildlands on August 6 that adds native 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, 3D audio, DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, and faster SSD-backed loading. The 2017 open-world shooter previously ran through backward compatibility without any of those features. The update also adds a free mission called Last Rites for the series' 25th anniversary, and Ubisoft is running a free trial weekend from August 6 through 10 with progress carrying over to the full game.
