Publisher tinyBuild and developers Hologryph and TowerHaus announced at Summer Game Fest that SAND: Raiders of Sophie will launch on Steam on June 10, 2026. The game is a multiplayer extraction FPS set on a ruined desert planet where evaporated oceans left behind civilizational wreckage. Players build and pilot customizable mechanical walkers called Tramplers for transport and combat. A free open server slam playtest is running this weekend ahead of launch, with new PvE Trampler enemy mechs, the Storm Dive Mode featuring a shrinking zone and a final Dreadnought shipwreck as the loot target, and expanded weapons.

Rainbow Six Siege Year 11 Season 2 Reworks Dokkaebi with a Phone-Bomb Ability

Rainbow Six Siege Year 11 Season 2 Operation System Override launched June 2. The season's headliner is a full Dokkaebi rework. Her Logic Bomb is replaced by Jegeo Payload: she uploads malware to an enemy device that blocks their Observation Tools, and if the carrier does not react in time, the phone detonates for 40 HP of damage and creates a fire hazard that can affect nearby operators. Dokkaebi also gains a new bullpup assault rifle, the XK23 AR, shared with Sens and Rauora.

Alien: Isolation 2 Officially Revealed at Summer Game Fest, Set on a New Forest Planet

Creative Assembly and Sega revealed Alien: Isolation 2 at Summer Game Fest on June 5, 12 years after the original. The sequel moves from a spaceship setting to a forest planet, targeting a colony called Kurasaka Station. Creative director Al Hope confirmed the Xenomorph still cannot be killed, maintaining the survival horror and stealth design of the 2014 original. The game is announced for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. No release date has been confirmed.

The reveal used an in-engine cinematic trailer. The game is confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, with a 2027 release window.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Runners Is Live Today After Last Night's Shattered Live Event

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, titled Runners, launched today June 6 following last night's Shattered live event. The island map is rebuilt with a tropical theme and fused POI locations, with the Zero Point exposed at the center of the map. Sprites, small companion creatures that attach to players and provide ability buffs, return from Chapter 6 Season 1 and can now be collected permanently across matches. New items include the Seven Power Boots for power-slide movement and two new weapons: the Chaos Reloader AR and Triple Barrel Shotgun. Players who attended the Shattered event received the Chaos Cutlasses pickaxe.
