Marathon Season 2 Goes Live and Free to Play Until June 9

Bungie launched Marathon Season 2 "Nightfall" on June 2 and the game is free to download and play on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC through June 9 at 7AM PT. Season 2 adds two new cooperative queues: one with a light PvP element and one fully PvE, built for squads that want to loot without fighting other runners. New content includes the Sentinel runner shell, the Night Marsh dark map variant, two new weapons, and a revamped stat and progression system. Progress carries over if you buy after the trial ends.

Apex Legends Power Trip Launches New Legend Axle With a Day-One Nerf

The Apex Legends Power Trip event runs June 2-23 and introduces Axle, a new combat racer legend whose Nitro Gate ability places traversal portals around the arena. A June 2 balance patch buffs Vantage, Conduit, and Ash while immediately nerfing Axle's own Nitro Gate: the maximum portal count drops from 3 to 2 and health points fall from 150 to 100. Respawn also fixed a Vantage ping visibility bug where teammates could not see pings from the character during matches.

CS2 IEM Cologne Major Stage 1 Is Underway Through June 5

The IEM Cologne 2026 Major is live, with Stage 1 group matches running June 2-5. Stage 2 starts June 6, Stage 3 begins June 11, and playoffs run June 18-21. Valve pushed a small CS2 update alongside the event, adding the Cologne 2026 Shop with sticker bookmarking and a spectator flashbang opacity variable for broadcast use. The Pick'Em Challenge is open in-client.

Tell Me Why, Winexy, and Gravity Circuit Are All Free on Steam Right Now

Three games are currently free on Steam. Tell Me Why, Dontnod's 2020 narrative adventure priced at $19.99, is available free with no announced end date. Winexy is free through June 5. Gravity Circuit, an action-platformer similar to classic Mega Man games, is free through June 14. All three can be added to your library during the free window and kept permanently.

Xbox Game Pass June 2026: Final Fantasy VI and Jurassic World Evolution 3 Lead Wave One

Microsoft added the first wave of June 2026 Game Pass titles on June 2, led by Final Fantasy VI (the 1994 RPG from Square Enix), Jurassic World Evolution 3, and The Elder Scrolls Online, available for Ultimate, PC, and Premium subscribers. A second wave on June 11 includes Beastro, Frog Sqwad, and Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions as day-one launches. Denshattack! arrives as a day-one title on June 17. Microsoft typically announces further additions mid-month, so the full June lineup is not yet confirmed.

Nvidia Announces RTX Spark Superchip at Computex, DLSS 4.5 Lands in August

Nvidia unveiled the RTX Spark platform at Computex 2026 (June 2-5), combining a 20-core ARM Grace CPU with a Blackwell-class RTX GPU and up to 128GB of shared LPDDR5X memory, targeting thin laptops and compact desktops. Jensen Huang demonstrated the chip running upcoming AAA titles at 1440p with ray tracing and DLSS above 100fps. Nvidia also announced DLSS 4.5 with Ray Reconstruction, rolling out to all existing RTX GPUs in August 2026. Dell and Lenovo are among the first confirmed laptop makers for RTX Spark devices.
