Apex Legends Power Trip Starts Today with Nine Chaos Modifiers and Ash's First Prestige Skin

Respawn launched the Apex Legends Power Trip event today, running June 2 through 23. Wildcard mode returns with a revamped map rotation across Kings Canyon, Olympus, and Broken Moon, and nine new round modifiers are active: Featherweight lets Legends double jump and fast fall, Small Fry shrinks every player on the map, Red Handed upgrades all weapons to Mythic rarity, and Explosive is exactly what it sounds like. Ash, Conduit, and Vantage are free to play for the full event duration. Ash receives her first Prestige skin with multiple upgrade tiers, a custom finisher, and a unique dive trail. Weekly challenge packs award themed cosmetics for all three free Legends.

CS2 IEM Cologne 2026 Major Opens Today with $1.25M Prize Pool and a Reworked Sticker Shop

IEM Cologne 2026, the CS2 Major, opened Stage 1 today at LANXESS Arena in Cologne, Germany. Thirty-two teams compete across three Swiss stages, with Stage 1 running June 2 through 5 to decide which 16 advance. The full tournament runs to June 21 with a $1.25 million prize pool. Valve also shipped a significant overhaul to tournament stickers: sticker capsule and autograph capsule packs no longer exist. Every team logo, player autograph, holographic, foil, and gold sticker can now be purchased directly from a token-based Major Shop. The Pick'Em Challenge is live alongside the shop.

AMD Radeon RX 9070 GRE Launches Globally at $549 for 1440p Gaming

AMD released the Radeon RX 9070 GRE worldwide on June 1, with board partner cards from Sapphire, ASUS, Gigabyte, and PowerColor shipping from June 2. The card was previously sold only in China. It uses the Navi 48 die (RDNA 4 architecture) with 48 Compute Units, 3,072 Stream Processors, and 12GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus. AMD prices it at $549, the same starting MSRP as the full Radeon RX 9070. The 9070 GRE sits between the RX 9060 XT and RX 9070 in specification, though AMD says its performance lands closer to the full 9070 than the 9060 XT.

Fallout 76 Infestations Update Drops Today with Dynamic Endgame Faction Encounters

Bethesda released Fallout 76's Patch 68 today, launching Season 25 titled Appalachia Under Siege. The headlining addition is Infestations: a dynamic system targeting endgame players where stronger, faction-specific enemies replace standard enemies at up to 40 designated locations across the map. Enemy types include Blood Eagles, Scorched, Cultists, and Robots, each with elevated difficulty. The patch also adds five new four-star legendary item mods (Hauler's, Raging, Satiated, Tarnished, and Vector), new seasonal fish, new recipes, a new limited-time Local Legend, and a new Fallout 1st Survival Tent with an Aidbox.
