Bungie revealed full details for Marathon Season 2: NIGHTFALL this week ahead of its June 2 launch. The centerpiece is Night Marsh, a horror-themed rework of Dire Marsh where extraction points and loot spawn locations are hidden at match start and every runner carries a flashlight by default. Light sources such as Vector rounds and signal flares become tactical tools for revealing the environment. The new Cradle progression system replaces much of the current stat build with a six-category investment tree that directly improves attributes like Agility and Loot Speed. A full seasonal account reset accompanies the launch.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Revealed for October 23 With DMZ Extraction Mode and First Nintendo CoD in 13 Years

Infinity Ward and Activision revealed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on May 28 for an October 23 launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, the first Call of Duty on a Nintendo platform since 2013. Three modes ship at launch: a campaign set on a Korean Peninsula under invasion featuring Captain Price, competitive multiplayer with 12 maps and a new Ballistic Authority mode, and DMZ, a fully expanded extraction shooter where squads loot, fight, and extract from an open conflict zone with shifting conditions and no two deployments playing the same. Infinity Ward described DMZ as a direct competitor to ARC Raiders and Escape from Tarkov.

PS Plus June 2026: Warhammer 40K Darktide and Grounded Available June 2 for Essential Members

Sony revealed the June 2026 PlayStation Plus Essential lineup on May 26.
